Kelley J Sullivan is a mixed media painter whose work is rooted in the belief that art should evoke deeply personal, emotional responses. Inspired by nature, she embraces the fluidity of paint and water, allowing the medium to guide her creative process. Layer by layer, she builds complex, textured landscapes, with final details added through charcoal, oil pen, and other mixed media.
Her work has been widely exhibited across the U.S. and pieces such as Angels and Monkeys, Sojourn, and Those Among Us have been featured in coffee table art books. She won first place for painting at the Ridgway Art Show in Colorado and the “Emerging Artist” award through Best of the Northwest in 2019, and voted #1 visual artist in Bozeman in 2022. Her paintings are held in private collections throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
